GMT Watch - Justice Backstage Pass '88

In 1988, heavy metal was an awakening force. Arena floors trembled, amplifiers stacked toward the rafters, and a new generation found its anthem in distortion and defiance. This timepiece is built around an authentic 1988 backstage pass from one of the bands that led that revolution. Carefully cut and preserved beneath sapphire crystal, the original pass forms the dial itself. The bold imagery of lady justice became an icon of this movement. The printed blue color is perfectly balanced by the two tone bezel and blue GMT hand. The contrast of the black stainless steel case further emphasizes the dial bringing the focal point straight to lady justice.  A solid mechanical movement beats within, keeping a rhythm to the chaos and volume that once shook the stage. This is not merchandise, it’s a relic of the year heavy metal claimed the world.
